In this issue, IJAC includes a collection of works inspired by SmartGeometry. As the second title in this series, the book focuses on generative and architectural design. Works by Mette Ramsgard Thomsen, Maria Vera van Embden Andres, and Kirk Martini contribute to the wide-ranging development and techniques that spring from the innovation of SmartGeometry, while papers by Roly Hudson relate research developments and practical application in the real world. Along with the first issue of this IJAC series, this publication aims to capture the ideas that emerge at the SmartGeometry annual events with an academic peer review process.
